Central Kentucky Job Center’s Career Fair Provides Employment Opportunities for Richmond And Madison County Residents

November 12^th was quite a memorable day for the staff of all 4 Central Kentucky Job Centers. Even though the day was cold and dreary, the Dawahare’s located at the Richmond Mall was a hub of activity as area Employers met with Job Seekers at the Career Fair.

Central Kentucky Job Center’s Danville WIA Business Specialist Erica Sluder organized the Job Fair with her usual mix of expertise and high energy enthusiasm.

“I am very pleased with the high level of attendance today. I can’t believe there are this many people here, and it’s not even 11:00!” a visibly excited Erica exclaimed.

The Career Fair began with a bang as Job Seekers started to arrive early to take advantage of this great opportunity.

Held from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, traffic was steady throughout the day.

Area Employers included:

· Adecco Staffing

· Nesco Resoures

· GTS Staffing

· Gate Precast Company

· The United States Army

· Eastern Kentucky University

· Kentucky Job Corps

And if this isn’t enough, the Central Kentucky Job Center Lexington will be hosting it’s Career Fair from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Northeast Christian Church at Hamburg Place in Lexington, hosted by our own Todd Blanton.
